Logicor Secures Planning Consent for Logistics Development in Coalville

Logicor, a logistics property owner, has obtained detailed planning consent for Logicor Park Bardon, a 557,000 sq ft development in Coalville, Leicestershire. The project will expand the company's warehouse portfolio in the UK Midlands.

The scheme is situated in Coalville, within the UK logistics "Golden Triangle," a region known for its access to major population centers and national transport networks. The development is expected to be completed by late 2027.

Logicor Park Bardon is designed to accommodate build-to-suit requirements and aims for BREEAM Outstanding environmental certification and an EPC A energy performance rating. It is anticipated to support approximately 670 local jobs.

The facility will feature over 4,500 sq m of photovoltaic panels, EV charging for 550 parking spaces, and the recycling of 98% of demolition materials. It will offer up to 21m eaves height and a 4MVA power supply, with strategic proximity to Junction 22 of the M1 motorway.

This development follows Logicor's recent projects in the UK, including deliveries and lettings at Logicor Park Daventry and Derby. The company noted continued demand for large, modern warehouse space in established Midlands locations.
