Logistics platform Shiprocket returns to profitability in second quarter
Indian e-commerce enablement firm Shiprocket reported its first quarterly profit since going public, as revenue grew 35% year-over-year.
Shiprocket, an e-commerce logistics and enablement platform, achieved a consolidated net profit of Rs 0.6 crore for the second quarter of the 2026-27 fiscal year. This marks a recovery from the Rs 20.3 crore loss recorded during the same period in the previous year.
Operating revenue rose to Rs 673.6 crore, driven by a 25% growth in the domestic shipping segment and a 61% increase in emerging business lines, which include cross-border shipping and marketing technology. Management noted that the company’s focus on streamlining omnichannel retail for small-to-medium enterprises has been a primary growth lever, alongside the deployment of AI-driven analytics for inventory and shipping route optimization.
While the core logistics business remains profitable, the company’s emerging segments reported widened losses. However, CFO Tanmay Kumar noted that the business is now debt-free following its recent IPO. Operational cash flow for the first half of the year reached Rs 55.1 crore, doubling the figure from the same period in the previous year.
