Lola Weippert Employs Only Women in Her Companies
ARD presenter Lola Weippert stated in an interview that her companies exclusively hire women. She justifies this decision by advocating for equality and supporting women in the workplace.

ARD presenter Lola Weippert has announced her decision to exclusively hire women for her companies. She identifies as a "women's advocate" and aims to promote gender equality in the professional sphere.
Speaking on the podcast "Hörbar Rust," Weippert revealed that she manages three to four businesses, including a real estate firm and a company focused on her media work. She admitted that she has struggled to find female workers for the renovation of her rural property, dubbed "Lolaland," which she purchased in 2021.
"I am a feminist, I just want equality," Weippert clarified during the interview. She expressed frustration over the persistent need for women to prove their competence, particularly in male-dominated fields such as construction. She recounted instances on construction sites and at a notary's office where she was disregarded or not taken seriously, with assumptions made about her role as a financial backer rather than the owner.
"It's time that we women are in charge," Weippert stated. She emphasized the necessity of empowering women with more influence and visibility, including financially, to achieve genuine equality. She advocates for equal treatment and asserts that everyone deserves a seat at the table.
Weippert's stance highlights broader issues concerning women's positions in the workforce and the obstacles they encounter in their careers. Her policy of hiring only women, while unconventional, sparks discussion about the practical application of gender equality and the methods available to advance it.
