Longevous Beamtech unveils 30 MeV medical cyclotron platform in Vienna
Longevous Beamtech introduced its new LB-30 series medical cyclotron at the European Association of Nuclear Medicine 2026 congress.

Longevous Beamtech (LBT) debuted its 30 MeV medical cyclotron platform, the LB-30 series, at the 39th Annual Congress of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM 2026) in Vienna. The system is engineered for the production of radioisotopes used in nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
The new hardware aims to support medical facilities in expanding their in-house isotope production capabilities. By utilizing a 30 MeV energy level, the platform facilitates the generation of a broader range of isotopes compared to standard lower-energy configurations, addressing a critical component of modern clinical imaging infrastructure.
The launch comes as the healthcare sector faces rising demand for more specialized diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals. The LB-30 series is expected to serve as a key component for institutions looking to improve self-sufficiency in the production of medical-grade radioactive substances.
