LONGi maintains BNEF Tier 1 energy storage status under updated criteria
LONGi has secured its 10th consecutive quarterly inclusion on the BloombergNEF Tier 1 list for energy storage manufacturers, despite stricter project bankability requirements.

LONGi has retained its position on the BloombergNEF (BNEF) Tier 1 list for global energy storage manufacturers for the 10th consecutive quarter. This latest ranking follows a revision of BNEF’s criteria, which now mandate that projects secure non-recourse financing from at least two commercial banks to qualify, reflecting a broader industry focus on financial stability and project viability.
The company’s recent performance is underpinned by its 'LONGi ONE' strategy, which centralizes the development of battery management, power conversion, and energy management systems. By bringing these technologies under one platform, LONGi aims to streamline system integration for utility-scale and commercial applications.
LONGi has deployed its technology across various international markets, including projects in Australia’s national electricity market and grid-stability operations in Germany. Additionally, the company has completed microgrid projects in Finland and high-durability installations in Italy. The firm continues to expand its manufacturing capabilities to support its global project delivery pipeline.
