LONGi Retains Tier 1 Energy Storage Status in BloombergNEF Q4 2026 Ranking
LONGi has secured its 10th consecutive quarterly listing as a Tier 1 energy storage manufacturer, despite stricter financing requirements imposed by BNEF.
BloombergNEF (BNEF) has published its Q4 2026 Tier 1 global energy storage manufacturing list, marking the 10th consecutive quarter that LONGi has qualified for the designation. This iteration of the ranking features tightened criteria, requiring manufacturers to demonstrate project financing from at least two commercial banks to ensure commercial viability and bankability.
LONGi has sought to align its operations with these standards through its "LONGi ONE" strategy, which integrates proprietary technologies—including battery management systems (BMS) and power conversion systems (PCS)—into a unified platform. This approach aims to provide cohesive system management across utility-scale and industrial applications.
The company continues to deploy its technology in diverse environments, ranging from grid-stabilization efforts in Germany to cold-weather microgrid installations in Finland. LONGi states that it is further expanding its manufacturing capacity to support ongoing global demand for energy storage solutions.
