Loomis completes acquisition of Hermes Transportes Blindados in Peru
Loomis has finalized the acquisition of Hermes Transportes Blindados in Peru. The total purchase price for the acquired shares was approximately USD 297 million.
Nordic cash and carry services company Loomis has completed the acquisition of a majority stake in Peru-based Hermes Transportes Blindados S.A. The company acquired 99.80 percent of Hermes' shares for approximately USD 297 million, equivalent to roughly SEK 3 billion.
The acquisition was finalized following a public tender offer and the fulfillment of its conditions. Hermes Transportes Blindados is a leading provider of security logistics services in Peru, offering transportation, processing, and secure storage for valuables.
The deal expands Loomis' presence in Latin America and strengthens its position in the regional cash and carry market. Peru represents a key market for the company's strategic expansion.
