Loro Piana, the luxury goods house under the LVMH umbrella, has announced its continued partnership as the official partner and title sponsor for the 2025 Giraglia Regatta. This renowned sailing competition, co-organized by the Yacht Club Italiano and the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez, is recognized as a significant fixture on the international sailing calendar.
The 2025 edition of the regatta is set to unfold between June 7 and June 14. The course will lead participants from Saint-Tropez, with a passage around Corsica, to Genoa, encompassing the classic 241-nautical mile challenge. The event's emphasis on tradition, fair play, and high performance aligns with Loro Piana's core values and its deep-rooted connection to the sea and an elegant lifestyle.
The week's events commence with four days of coastal races off Saint-Tropez. The main event, the iconic race to Genoa via the Giraglia islet off Corsica, is scheduled for June 11. Pier Luigi Loro Piana, the brand's Vice Chairman, will be participating in the race aboard his yacht "My Song," continuing a family tradition that blends maritime expertise with refined aesthetics.
Throughout the regatta, a dedicated "Loro Piana Giraglia Lounge and Race Village" will be situated in Saint-Tropez, offering a sophisticated hospitality space for boat owners, guests, and sailing enthusiasts. The lounge is furnished with Loro Piana Interiors pieces and decorated in calming, natural tones, reflecting the brand's signature approach to comfort and style.
Prizes, including the Loro Piana Giraglia Cup and Defender trophies, will be presented in Genoa on June 14. Three winners will also receive specially designed Defender jackets to commemorate their achievements in the race.
