Los Angeles County Democrats Back 'No' Vote on Inglewood's Measure BB
The Los Angeles County Democratic Party has voted to oppose Measure BB on Inglewood's November 3, 2026 ballot. The measure would eliminate the city's right to advertising revenue.

The Los Angeles County Democratic Party has announced its opposition to Measure BB, set for Inglewood's November 3, 2026 ballot. The party's vote aligns Inglewood officials and local community leaders in urging voters to reject the measure, which critics label a "billionaires' bailout."
Measure BB was placed on the ballot by stadium and entertainment venue owners through a committee sponsored by local sports and entertainment districts. If passed, it would end the city of Inglewood's ability to collect approximately $8 million annually in advertising revenue. These funds are currently allocated to public services such as public safety, parks, and street repairs. The measure would eliminate these revenues without removing the advertising displays themselves.
Oliver Unaka, campaign director for "Inglewood Residents for Stadium Accountability," described the measure as a "billionaires' bailout." He stated that the Democratic Party's endorsement of a 'no' vote signifies that opposition to Measure BB represents the choice of the community and its trusted leaders, not just a single campaign.
"Inglewood Residents for Stadium Accountability" (IRSA) is a coalition comprising local small businesses, city residents, and WOW Media, Inc. The group aims to ensure Inglewood retains the necessary resources to maintain its safety and strength.
