Lotus announced its ELETRE and EMEYA 900 GOLD models will officially launch on August 31. Pre-sales for the vehicles began earlier in August.

Lotus announced on Tuesday that its new ELETRE 900 GOLD and EMEYA 900 GOLD models will officially launch on August 31. These special editions opened for pre-order on August 12, with prices starting at 928,000 yuan and 918,000 yuan respectively (approximately $128,000 and $126,000 USD).
Both 900 GOLD models feature the "High Performance Core Handling Package," which includes carbon fiber interior and exterior elements, 10-piston carbon-ceramic brakes, forged carbon fiber wheels, and exclusive 900 GOLD carbon fiber badges. Lotus stated that a similar package on the EMEYA helped it achieve a lap time of 2:20.317 at the Sepang F1 circuit, setting a new track record for a production electric vehicle.
Standard equipment on the vehicles includes a dual-chamber air suspension, a 48V active anti-roll bar, and rear-wheel steering. The tires are custom Pirelli P Zero LTS. Aerodynamic enhancements consist of an active front air dam, active rear diffuser, active rear spoiler, and active intake grille.
Power output is identical for both models, with dual electric motors delivering a combined 918 horsepower and 985 Nm of torque. Power is routed through a two-speed automatic transmission, maintaining the same peak performance figures as the current 900 series models. The EMEYA 900 GOLD accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 2.78 seconds with a top speed of 256 km/h, while the ELETRE 900 GOLD achieves 0-100 km/h in 2.95 seconds and has a top speed of 265 km/h.
