Louis Vuitton has launched its new La Beauté Louis Vuitton makeup collection, aiming to transform beauty into a sensory and artistic experience. The collection was first released in China on August 20, with a global launch following.
Dame Pat McGrath, appointed Creative Director of Cosmetics for La Beauté Louis Vuitton, spearheads the development of this new line. McGrath's artistry is evident in the collection's offerings, which feature 55 lipstick shades, ten balms, and eight eyeshadows. The product design is by Konstantin Grcic, and the fragrance signature is by Louis Vuitton Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud.
The collection emphasizes sustainability with refillable products and the use of materials like brass and aluminum to reduce plastic. This approach aligns with Louis Vuitton's heritage of creating precious objects intended to be kept and passed down. Industrial designer Konstantin Grcic noted the focus on durability and quality to minimize waste.
Accompanying the makeup is a Vanity Trunk and a range of small leather goods designed to integrate into daily beauty rituals. The collection became available on August 29 in select Louis Vuitton stores and online.
