Louis Vuitton unveiled its Men's Spring-Summer 2027 collection in Paris on June 25, 2026. Designed by Creative Director Pharrell Williams, the collection draws inspiration from the sea and shore, blending the codes of surf culture with the dandy aesthetic.
The collection explores a wardrobe for the "dandy-surfer," merging elements of travel, performance, and savoir-faire. It features unconventional elegance with relaxed sophistication, incorporating marine embellishments and hand-woven textiles. The color palette reflects hues of blue and green, reminiscent of ocean waves. Precise tailoring is juxtaposed with monogrammed technical wetsuits, and the surfboard emerges as a key accessory for the season.
Textures in the collection evoke a sense of being weathered by the sun and sea spray, with embroidered beads and shells recalling beach treasures. Graphic motifs, including acid colors and checkerboard patterns, fuse the lexicons of surf and skateboarding cultures. Striped patterns play with the horizon line, and a trunk design evokes an endless summer sunset. Baseball caps and hoodies allow for free-flowing hair, complemented by fluid pants and canvas sneakers.
The show also highlighted sustainability initiatives. As part of its Regeneration 2030 roadmap, Louis Vuitton is supporting Coral Gardeners in reef restoration efforts in French Polynesia. Water used during the event was returned to the sewer system via a closed circuit, and the sand was donated to beach volleyball courts at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris.
