Louis Vuitton presented its 2027 Cruise Collection within the historic setting of The Frick Collection in New York City. The fashion house held its first-ever fashion show at the museum, an icon of New York's Gilded Age, located adjacent to Central Park.

The collection, spearheaded by Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of Women’s Collections, highlighted the dialogue between fashion and the arts. This event also initiated a three-year cultural partnership between Louis Vuitton and the museum.

Drawing inspiration from the spirit of travel and architectural landmarks, the collection embodies the freedom of New York City, blending "Downtown attitude with Uptown glamour." Plays of materials and color combinations create surprising tensions, with bright red juxtaposed against iridescent pink. Sculptural tailoring, including sharp collars and raised shoulders, reflects meticulous attention to garment construction.

Iconic characters created by American pop and street artist Keith Haring adorn dresses, tops, and bags within the collection. Elements such as rolled-down overalls, trompe-l’œil pants, and bomber jackets worn over boxing shorts transition into eveningwear. The collection also features voluminous sleeves, elaborate ruffles, and floral mini capes and hats, adding a theatrical touch that merges contemporary creativity with historical and artistic beauty.
