Energy company Gasum has appointed Lowina Lundström as the new Vice President of Biogas. She will join the company’s management team on December 1, 2026, taking responsibility for the development of Gasum's biogas operations.
Lundström joins the firm from EIT InnoEnergy, where she spent three years as CEO of the Scandinavian division, managing clean energy investments and stakeholder relations. Her previous background includes an executive vice president role at Svenska kraftnät, where she oversaw an organization of approximately 550 employees.
Gasum CEO Mika Wiljanen cited the strategic importance of the biogas sector for the company’s future direction. He noted that Lundström’s background in clean energy policy and business management is expected to assist in scaling the firm's biogas output.
This appointment comes as Gasum continues to integrate biogas deeper into its core energy portfolio, positioning it as a key pillar in the regional transition toward cleaner energy sources.
