LPP Logistics Expands Warehouse Automation with Geekplus

LPP Logistics, the in-house logistics provider for fashion company LPP Group, has expanded its collaboration with Geekplus, a global leader in warehouse robotics. This new phase focuses on leveraging intelligent automation to accelerate and enhance retail order fulfillment throughout Europe.

The partnership aims to establish a flexible and scalable automation strategy that can adapt to evolving retail demands, customer expectations, and business growth. LPP Logistics is deploying Geekplus's robotic solutions, including RoboShuttle and P series robots, tailored to specific operational needs. This approach reduces integration complexity and allows for faster, more predictable system deployment.

In Europe's fast-paced retail environment, customer demands for speed and accuracy are continuously rising, with seasonal peaks presenting significant operational challenges. Geekplus's robotics-based solution offers a highly scalable order fulfillment system capable of handling high volumes and adapting to LPP's changing product assortments and stock-keeping unit (SKU) diversity.

The automation enhances efficiency and precision in warehouse operations while reducing repetitive manual labor. Over 1,600 autonomous robots are currently operating across two LPP Logistics facilities, managing hundreds of thousands of storage locations and supporting high-density storage up to approximately 12 meters. This system facilitates daily order processing and enables flexible responses to seasonal fluctuations.

Geekplus's robot management system allows for centralized coordination of large robot fleets, supporting over 1,000 robots in a single facility. Hong Yu, General Manager of Geekplus Europe, highlights the solution's ability to combine high-volume order fulfillment and dense storage with the flexibility crucial for the dynamic fashion industry. Sebastian Sołtys, CEO of LPP Logistics, stated that the selection was driven by Geekplus's capability to deliver measurable value and ensure capacity expansion.
