Luca de Meo Appointed CEO of Kering
Kering's board of directors has approved the appointment of Luca de Meo as the group's new Chief Executive Officer. He will take up the role in September.

Kering's board of directors, chaired by François-Henri Pinault, has approved the appointment of Luca de Meo as the group's new Chief Executive Officer. The decision follows a recommendation from the company's nominations and governance committee.
The move signifies a key development in the company's governance structure, separating the roles of Chairman and CEO. This aligns with best practices for large listed companies.
De Meo is set to officially take on his duties as CEO on September 15, provided shareholders approve his board nomination and the new remuneration policy at the upcoming general meeting on September 9. Pinault will continue as Chairman of the Board during de Meo's tenure.
Luca de Meo joins Kering from Renault Group, where he served as CEO. He brings extensive experience from leadership positions in international corporations, primarily in the automotive sector. Kering is a global luxury group that owns brands such as Gucci, Saint Laurent, and Balenciaga.
