Lululemon faces class action lawsuit over alleged securities fraud
Investors have filed a class action lawsuit against Lululemon Athletica, alleging the company misled shareholders regarding its growth and overall financial performance.

Lululemon Athletica is facing a securities fraud lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. The complaint, filed by shareholders, alleges that the company issued misleading statements regarding its growth trajectory and business health between March 18 and September 3, 2026.
The litigation follows significant stock price volatility triggered by disappointing earnings reports. In June 2026, the company disclosed declining gross margins and slowing sales trends, resulting in an 8.6% drop in share price. A subsequent decline occurred in September, when the company reported a 4.3% year-over-year revenue drop, including a 20% decrease in sales for core categories such as leggings and women’s tops. This led to a further 17.4% decrease in share value.
Plaintiffs contend that the company’s disclosures misrepresented the success of its product launches and overall demand. The class action, captioned Koronczi v. lululemon athletica inc., is being managed by the law firm Bleichmar Fonti & Auld LLP. The deadline for investors to petition the court for appointment as lead plaintiff is January 4, 2027.
