LUM GmbH Supports World Congress on Particle Technology in Osaka

LUM GmbH, recognized for its scientific and metrological expertise in particle characterization, is actively supporting the 10th World Congress on Particle Technology in Osaka, Japan. The event, taking place from May 11 to 15, commemorates 100 years of analytical (ultra)centrifugation.

The company's core business involves analytical centrifuges for particle and dispersion characterization, which have been continuously developed and sold worldwide under the LUMiFuge and LUMiSizer brands since 1998. These instruments assess the stability of suspensions and emulsions and determine adhesion strengths.

Professor Dr. Dr. Lerche, founder and Managing Director of LUM GmbH, is organizing a special session at the congress focusing on the historical development and current applications of analytical (ultra)centrifugation. The session will feature presentations utilizing the LUMiSizer analytical centrifuge for research on nanoparticles, coatings, and materials like graphene.

LUM will also share its findings in single-particle characterization and present information for industrial users on characterizing liquid dispersions using spectral reflectance measurement. The congress is expected to advance scientific and industrial problem-solving in particle size analysis and industrial separation technology.
