Lumo Kodit completes EUR 300 million bond issue

Helsinki – Lumo Kodit Oyj announced on May 20, 2026, that it has completed the issuance of EUR 300 million in senior unsecured notes under its EMTN programme. The euro-denominated notes have a maturity of four years, maturing on May 20, 2030, and carry a fixed annual coupon of 4.000 percent.

The bond issuance strengthens the company's financial position and supports its strategic objectives. Earlier this year, Lumo Kodit utilized a EUR 600 million acquisition financing facility to partially fund the purchase of a housing portfolio comprising 4,761 apartments from Varma. The proceeds from the new bond will be used to partially repay this acquisition financing.

The notes were issued under Lumo Kodit’s EUR 2,500,000,000 EMTN programme. The notes have been rated Baa2 by Moody's and admitted to trading on the regulated market of Euronext Dublin.

Lumo Kodit is Finland's largest residential real estate company, focusing on major growth centers. The company invests in sustainable and digital solutions to enhance urban living. Goldman Sachs International, Nordea, and SEB acted as joint lead managers for the issuance.
