Lumosenergy Launches Global Brand in Munich
EV charging solutions provider Lumosenergy held a global brand launch in Munich, officially marking its international transition from Gresgying.

Lumosenergy, a provider of electric vehicle charging solutions, hosted its global brand launch and industry networking event in Munich on July 10, 2026. The event formally announced the company's international rebranding from Gresgying to Lumosenergy.
The company, described as one of China's top three EV charging equipment suppliers, has expanded its operations globally. Lumosenergy states it has delivered over 170,000 DC chargers across more than 50 countries, with annual sales exceeding $250 million in 2025. The company reports a market capitalization of approximately $1 billion and employs over 1,300 individuals.
During the event, Lumosenergy showcased its new Xi'an "Mega Factory." This 220,000-square-meter zero-carbon smart facility is designed for an annual production capacity of 200,000 DC chargers, 500,000 AC chargers, and 2.4 GWh of battery energy storage systems.
Lumosenergy presented its European-ready product portfolio, including CE-certified AC chargers, DC all-in-one chargers, and distributed charging systems up to 1.44MW. The company also indicated plans for future innovation in areas such as megawatt charging, vehicle-to-vehicle mobile DC charging, and robotic charging arms.
The company emphasized its commitment to the European market by strengthening its local team and partnerships, including a team of over 70 international employees and a German office in Düsseldorf. A strategic cooperation signing with Phoenix Contact E-Mobility was highlighted as part of Lumosenergy's strategy to build a local European ecosystem.
