Lundin Gold Inc. has announced the discovery of two new copper-gold porphyry deposits within its 100%-owned Fruta del Norte (FDN) district in southeastern Ecuador. These discoveries bring the total number of identified porphyry targets in the district to seven.

The company is now targeting a maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE) for the Sandia copper-gold porphyry in early 2027. This represents a significant milestone in the advancement of the first of the company's identified porphyry prospects.

The discoveries resulted from the company's ongoing copper-gold porphyry exploration programs in the FDN district, following the initial discovery of Sandia in 2025. Continued drilling success across the district has now confirmed these new targets.

The FDN mine is Lundin Gold's primary producing asset and is a high-grade gold operation. The new copper-gold discoveries expand the district's potential beyond its initial gold focus and could significantly increase the overall mineral resources within the FDN concession.
