Lundin Gold reported on October 26, 2026, positive results from its ongoing conversion and exploration drilling programs at the Fruta del Norte (FDN) mine in southeast Ecuador. Notable intercepts included 124.27 grams of gold per tonne over 11 meters at FDNS, and 242.64 grams of gold per tonne over 3.3 meters at the Bonza Sur deposit.

These findings are part of a broader effort to better define the geological characteristics of the FDN deposits. Alongside the exploration updates, the company has commenced a conversion drilling program at FDN East. This phase is intended to upgrade mineral resource classifications, providing more detailed data for future mine planning.

The Fruta del Norte mine remains a core asset for Lundin Gold. By conducting concurrent drilling and underground development, the company aims to optimize its operational efficiency. The ongoing technical work is expected to further clarify the potential of the epithermal gold deposits across the site.
