Chinese tech personality and entrepreneur Luo Yonghao has issued a public call to the technology industry to create a smart TV that elderly users can easily turn on and begin watching without complex procedures. Luo announced that if any company succeeds in developing such a user-friendly television before the end of the year, he will promote it for free at the "Crossroads Annual Technology Sharing Conference" in Shenzhen.

Luo Yonghao emphasized that implementing such a solution is primarily a software matter and believes it is still feasible to complete before year-end. He is also prepared to assist by offering free sales promotion through his personal live-streaming sessions, where he will advertise such televisions approximately once a week for a year.

Should companies in the industry fail to meet the challenge by year-end, Luo Yonghao's own software team plans to develop a similar solution. Subsequently, they will seek collaborations with traditional television manufacturers for branding and licensing.

Last year's similar event, which Luo Yonghao mentioned, reportedly helped at least three startup companies increase their valuations significantly, by four to five times. The location and date for this year's conference have been confirmed, generating anticipation for how technology can improve daily life for various user groups, particularly seniors.
