Luxeed RX SUV: Over 85% of Customers Opt for L3 Driving Architecture Version
Luxeed RX coupé SUV's customer base prioritizes driving capability, with over 85% of buyers choosing the version equipped with L3 autonomous driving architecture.
Zhao Changjiang, Executive Director and Executive Vice President of Luxeed, has detailed the customer profile for the company's RX coupé SUV. A significant majority, exceeding 85%, have selected the version featuring L3-level autonomous driving architecture, indicating a strong customer preference for advanced driver-assistance systems.
Further insights reveal that 95% of customers opted for the smart enveloping driver's seat, either as standard or an optional feature. Approximately 30% of buyers favored the car's "Flash Butterfly Blue" color. Luxeed stated that many owners of luxury vehicles from brands like Porsche and BBA have switched to the RX after test drives, and the vehicle's two Max versions have garnered appreciation from younger consumers.
Zhao Changjiang emphasized that the car's original development goal was to offer superior handling, safety, and precise control. He noted that within the price range of under 300,000 yuan, the vehicle provides a comprehensive package of performance, safety, and advanced technology comparable to higher-end vehicles, without compromising the core experience. The cabin's laser system is also designed to enhance the intelligent driving experience.
The Luxeed RX officially launched on September 28, offering six configurations priced between 259,800 and 389,800 yuan. Built on Huawei's Tuling platform, the SUV is available in rear-wheel and dual-motor all-wheel-drive layouts. It incorporates Huawei's next-generation intelligent electric drive system and is engineered with a forward-looking L3 autonomous driving architecture.
