Luxury SUV Pre-Orders Open August 5 for Luxeed G9
The first luxury SUV from the HarmonyOS Intelligence initiative, the Luxeed G9, will be available for pre-order starting August 5th. The vehicle is set for a formal reveal on the same day.
Chinese tech news outlet IT Home reported on July 28th that the Luxeed G9, the inaugural luxury SUV under the HarmonyOS Intelligence initiative, will open for pre-orders on August 5th.
The vehicle is scheduled for its official debut at an event on August 5th, which will also feature the Seres V800 and V680 flagship MPVs and new Huawei all-scenario products. The Luxeed G9 is a joint development between Huawei and BAIC, positioned as a flagship "Series 9" model.
The Luxeed G9 will be offered in both all-electric and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) versions, with options for 5 or 6 seats. Technical highlights include a full-domain 800V high-voltage platform, standard all-wheel drive, new motors developed by Huawei, and a new "Giant Whale" battery pack. The all-electric variant boasts a CLTC range exceeding 700 km, while the EREV version offers over 400 km of electric range and a combined range exceeding 1300 km.
Advanced features include Huawei's ADS 5.0 intelligent driving system, a new LiDAR radar from Huawei, "Hongmeng Star" headlights, and electrochromic glass. The vehicle's dimensions are 5206/5377mm in length, 2050mm in width, and 1897mm in height, with a 3160mm wheelbase, presenting a square and robust design.
