Luxury Watchmaker Rotoris Secures $8.5 Million in Series A Funding
Indian startup Rotoris has raised $8.5 million to expand its international retail presence and production capacity after a successful initial collection launch.

Luxury watch manufacturer Rotoris has completed an $8.5 million Series A funding round led by Blume Ventures. Additional participants included 100Unicorns, Centricity, and various private family offices. The company intends to allocate the capital toward scaling its production facilities in Gurugram and establishing physical retail locations under the 'Rotoris House' brand in Mumbai and New York.
Founded in 2025, the company utilizes an invitation-only membership model, 'Rotoris Registry,' to sell its limited-edition timepieces. The startup assembles its watches locally using equipment sourced from Switzerland and technical oversight from horologists with backgrounds at established luxury firms. According to company data, its initial release of 2,100 units sold out shortly after the February 2026 launch.
The funding arrives as the Indian luxury watch market is projected to reach $2.9 billion by 2034, growing at a CAGR of 5.7%. Rotoris is positioning itself against established international competitors such as Seiko, Tissot, and Rado, while competing domestically with brands like Bangalore Watch Company. With approximately 40% of demand originating from international markets, the firm's expansion strategy focuses on securing a footprint in key global hubs.
