LVMH Enters Exclusive Talks to Acquire Le Parisien Newspaper
LVMH Group, the owner of Groupe Les Echos, has entered into exclusive negotiations with Groupe AMAURY for the potential acquisition of its publication, 'Le Parisien/Aujourd’hui en France'.

LVMH Group, a major conglomerate and owner of the media group Groupe Les Echos, announced it has entered exclusive negotiations to acquire the French daily newspaper 'Le Parisien/Aujourd’hui en France' from Groupe AMAURY.
The potential acquisition is currently subject to the approval of Groupe Amaury's employee representatives and relevant competition authorities. If successful, the deal would see one of France's largest newspapers become part of LVMH's expanding media portfolio.
Francis Morel, CEO of Groupe Les Echos, stated that the publication's strong complementarity with the group's existing titles would make a significant contribution. This move indicates LVMH's continued interest in the media sector, complementing its luxury goods business.
Le Parisien is a widely read French daily newspaper. The outcome of these negotiations is expected to have implications for the French media landscape.
