LVMH Names 2026 Young Fashion Designer Prize Finalists
Nine emerging fashion brands have been selected as finalists for the 2026 LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers. The winners will be announced at a September final in Paris.

Paris, France – The LVMH luxury conglomerate has announced the nine finalists for its 2026 LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers. This year's selection includes designers from the United States, Europe, China, and for the first time, Kenya.
The final competition will take place on Friday, September 4, at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris. The nine shortlisted designers were chosen from a semi-final round that featured twenty young designers, who had been selected from over 2,400 initial candidates. The semi-final event was held on March 4 and 5 at La Samaritaine in Paris.
The finalists represent a diverse range of styles and geographic origins. They are: COLLEEN ALLEN (United States, womenswear), DE PINO (France, womenswear), INSTITUTION (Georgia, womenswear, menswear, and genderless), JULIE KEGELS (Belgium, womenswear), LII (China, womenswear and menswear), PETRA FAGERSTRÖM (Sweden, womenswear), PONTE (United Kingdom, womenswear and menswear), THE VXLLEY (Spain, genderless), and YOSHITA 1967 (Kenya, womenswear).
The LVMH Prize winner will receive a 400,000-euro grant and a year of mentorship from LVMH teams. The winners of the Karl Lagerfeld Prize and the Savoir-Faire Prize will each receive 200,000 euros and a year of mentorship. Additionally, three outstanding fashion school graduates will be honored with cash prizes and a year-long placement within one of the group's Houses.
The jury for the final comprises prominent figures in the fashion industry, including Jonathan Anderson, Sarah Burton, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Nicolas Ghesquière, Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, and Pharrell Williams, alongside LVMH executives such as Delphine Arnault and Pietro Beccari.
