LVMH reaffirms sustainability commitment at Global Fashion Summit

Copenhagen – LVMH, the luxury goods group, reaffirmed its commitment to the sustainable transformation of the fashion and luxury industry during the Global Fashion Summit held in Copenhagen. The Group's participation underscored its role as a Strategic Partner of the Global Fashion Agenda, an organization dedicated to accelerating the transition toward a positive-impact fashion industry.

LVMH joined the initiative in 2025 with the aim of strengthening its contribution to a sector-wide transformation. By leveraging the synergies across its 75 Maisons, LVMH is expanding its involvement in concrete collaborative projects. The Summit serves as a key platform for dialogue and action, mobilizing the entire value chain around crucial environmental and social issues, including circularity, climate, biodiversity, and transparency.

Hélène Valade, Group Environment Development Director, highlighted at the event that the industry's transformation necessitates cooperation among companies, suppliers, public stakeholders, and NGOs. LVMH is furthering this through the "Joining Forces" call to action, originally launched in 2023. This collaboration aims, among other things, to develop a common ESG assessment framework to alleviate supplier fatigue.

LVMH also showcased tangible initiatives, such as its collaboration with designer Kévin Germanier on creative circularity and upcycling, utilizing overstock materials from the Group's Maisons. Alexandre Capelli, Deputy Director of Environmental Development, also participated in discussions on financing territorial projects and ecosystem restoration.

Under the Group's LIFE 360 plan (LVMH Initiatives For the Environment), LVMH reported significant progress in 2025. Over 10 million products benefited from circular services, such as repair and refill programs. The use of recycled materials increased to 41% of the materials mix. Additionally, over one hundred Eco-scores were published to enhance transparency for consumers.
