LVMH showcases innovation at VivaTech 10th anniversary

LVMH, the luxury goods conglomerate, is participating in the 10th anniversary of VivaTech, a prominent European technology event. As a founding partner and shareholder of the organizing group, LVMH is using the occasion to reaffirm its vision for innovation within the luxury sector.

The company's redesigned booth, named DreamGallery, aims to immerse visitors in how technology enhances every stage of LVMH's value chain. Ten innovations are showcased, categorized into four key areas: the sourcing of exceptional materials, creation enhanced by technology, product traceability, and the client experience.

Examples include precision agronomic technology for rose cultivation at Parfums Christian Dior, and a machine learning system for cutting leather at Louis Vuitton. Christian Dior Couture's TRACE program for product authentication and Celine's AI agent, CelIA, for client relations are also featured.

The LVMH Innovation Award, a staple at VivaTech, has been transformed into three daily awards: Best Impact (Fairly Made), Best Business (Synthesia), and Most Promising (Bluefish). LVMH Chairman Bernard Arnault and VivaTech co-founder Maurice Lévy spoke about the event's significance in supporting startups and the importance of execution in bringing ideas to fruition.
