LymeAlert Launches Nationwide Expansion of Tick Testing and Telehealth Services
Biotech startup LymeAlert is scaling its operations to offer at-home tick testing and telehealth consultations to patients across all 50 U.S. states.
Cambridge-based biotech firm LymeAlert has announced a nationwide rollout of its diagnostic and telehealth platform. The company, which provides at-home testing kits for ticks, is extending its clinical support network to reach pediatric and adult patients in every U.S. state through new strategic partnerships.
The service aims to address the diagnostic gap often associated with tick-borne diseases by providing rapid testing and remote physician review. By decentralizing this diagnostic process, LymeAlert seeks to expedite treatment paths for patients in areas where specialized medical consultation may not be immediately available.
The move marks a significant shift for the company, moving from a regional pilot to national availability. LymeAlert's platform focuses on minimizing the time between sample collection and clinical intervention, a critical factor in managing conditions like Lyme disease.
