Lynk & Co 07 GT Four-Wheel Drive Vehicle Registrations Delayed by Certificate Error
Lynk & Co is addressing registration issues for some four-wheel-drive 07 GT models in China due to incorrect data entry on vehicle certificates. The company has applied for corrected certificates and is offering compensation to affected customers.
Lynk & Co has announced a delay in the registration of some four-wheel-drive versions of its 07 GT model. The issue stems from an error in the vehicle's official certificate data, preventing certain vehicles from being licensed.
The problem specifically affects vehicles that do not have an optional trailer hitch or the "Hunting Wind" carbon fiber sports rear spoiler. For these configurations, the "maximum towing mass" parameter in the certificate was incorrectly entered as a dash ('-') instead of '0', causing a discrepancy with the official vehicle announcement data and halting the registration process.
Lynk & Co has stated that it has submitted an application to the relevant authorities to correct the certificates. The company expects to issue updated certificates within 2-5 business days. Dealerships will then contact affected customers to complete the registration and delivery procedures.
To compensate for the inconvenience, customers experiencing this delay will receive 2000 Co-points per day, up to a maximum of 50,000 Co-points. This compensation will be automatically credited within 14 business days after the corrected certificates are delivered. This situation highlights the critical importance of accurate data management in automotive manufacturing and regulatory compliance.
