Lynk & Co 10 Models Get "Smart Charge" Upgrade
Lynk & Co has updated its 10 model line-up with "Smart Charge" technology, introducing two versions with enhanced charging capabilities, including support for up to 900V.
Chinese automaker Lynk & Co has announced significant upgrades to its 10 model line-up, focusing on enhanced charging technology. The updated models, now classified as "Megawatt Smart Charge" and "Smart Charge" versions, were officially rolled out in late September.
The Lynk & Co 10 is the first vehicle to feature Geely's new AI-powered charging technology. The "Megawatt Smart Charge" variant supports a maximum charging rate of 900V and 12C, which the company claims can achieve an 80% charge in approximately eight minutes. The "Smart Charge" version offers 800V and 6C charging capabilities, placing it in the top tier of the industry according to the manufacturer.
To maintain battery health, the system is designed to keep battery temperatures below 65°C during fast charging, adhering to national standards.
Customers purchasing a new Lynk & Co 10 from October 1 will receive two years of charging benefits valued at 2000 yuan. Lynk & Co also revealed plans to expand its charging infrastructure, aiming to establish over 15,000 smart charging stations and 50,000 charging guns by the end of 2027.
The Lynk & Co 10 was initially launched in May starting at a price of 183,900 yuan, with a limited-time introductory price of 169,900 yuan.
