Lynk & Co Recalls 900 Models and Others for Laser Radar Replacement
Automaker Lynk & Co is recalling specific 900 models and other vehicles due to a potential issue with driver-assistance systems. The problem stems from laser radar units affected by manufacturing process variations.

Automaker Lynk & Co has initiated a recall for specific 900 models and other vehicles, citing a potential limitation in driver-assistance functions. The company announced on August 22 that the issue affects certain vehicles equipped with laser radar units and that the problem will be rectified at no cost to owners.
The malfunction in the driver-assistance system is attributed to variations in the manufacturing process of an internal power management IC component within the laser radar units. Lynk & Co stated that under specific circumstances, this could lead to restricted operation of driver-assistance features. As a safety measure, the vehicle will limit the maximum speed for combined driving assistance and notify the driver.
Lynk & Co has filed a recall plan with China's State Administration for Market Regulation. The company will contact affected vehicle owners via phone and text message. The problematic laser radar units will be replaced free of charge. The service will also include vehicle pick-up and delivery, along with priority servicing.
The recall encompasses specific production batches of the 900, 10 EM-P, 07 EM-P, and 08 EM-P models manufactured within defined periods in 2025 and 2026. Lynk & Co has proactively identified potentially affected vehicles through its cloud platform and advises owners to contact them or await service notifications. The replaced components will carry the same warranty as the original vehicle warranty.
