Lytix Biopharma reports phase II trial success for melanoma treatment
The NeoLIPA phase II study met its primary endpoint, demonstrating a pathological complete response in patients treated with ruxotemitide and pembrolizumab.

Oslo-based Lytix Biopharma has announced that its investigator-initiated phase II study, NeoLIPA, met its primary endpoint of pathological complete response. The trial assessed the efficacy of ruxotemitide in combination with pembrolizumab prior to surgery in patients diagnosed with resectable melanoma.
The study data indicated that the combination therapy was well-tolerated, with no new safety signals reported. These results suggest a positive outcome for the intratumoral therapy approach in treating this specific form of skin cancer before surgical intervention.
Detailed results from the study are expected to be disclosed at a future international oncology conference. Lytix Biopharma remains focused on the development of its pipeline of immuno-oncology treatments.
