M-Hero has officially released images of its new X-series model, the X700. The plug-in hybrid SUV was co-designed with Huawei.

M-Hero has unveiled official images of the X700, the debut vehicle in its X-series lineup. The new SUV, co-designed with Huawei, is positioned for a blend of urban driving and light outdoor activities. The M-Hero X700 is a plug-in hybrid sport utility vehicle manufactured by Dongfeng Motor Corporation. Dimensions are 5035x1999x1910 mm with a 2920 mm wheelbase, accommodating five passengers. It has a top speed of 180 km/h and is available in two weight variants: 2650 kg and 2750 kg. The vehicle prominently displays the Huawei Kunlun logo on its B-pillar, signifying the technology company's involvement. The X700 is intended as a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) capable of external charging. M-Hero has outlined the 'X' in X700 to represent 'eXplore, eXperience, relaX,' suggesting a focus on exploration, enjoyment, and comfort. The vehicle has completed its application process, appearing in the 409th batch of new vehicle announcements from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). Detailed specifications regarding its powertrain, battery capacity, and other technical aspects are expected to be released fully at a later date. M-Hero aims to combine robust performance with advanced technology in the X700, leveraging its partnership with Huawei to potentially integrate cutting-edge automotive technology and connectivity features.
