Mabwell to Present Clinical Data for Cancer Drug at ESMO 2026
Biopharmaceutical company Mabwell will present Phase II clinical data for its Nectin-4-targeting ADC drug 9MW2821 in metastatic breast cancer patients at the ESMO 2026 congress.
Biopharmaceutical company Mabwell is scheduled to present Phase II clinical data for its Nectin-4-targeting antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) 9MW2821 (Bulumtatug Fuvedotin, "BFv") at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) congress in 2026.
The drug is designed to target cancer cells expressing the Nectin-4 protein. It is being evaluated in patients with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer who have previously received treatment with similar therapies.
Triple-negative breast cancer is an aggressive subtype with a generally poorer prognosis compared to other breast cancer types. Targeting Nectin-4 represents an effort to develop novel therapeutic options for a patient population with limited treatment choices.
The presentation of clinical trial results at the congress will provide peer-reviewed insights into the drug's efficacy and safety profile. Such disclosures are significant steps in the drug development pipeline and can inform future clinical decisions.
