Mabylon AG Begins Phase I Clinical Trial
Mabylon AG has initiated a Phase I clinical trial for its compound MY006, aimed at preventing peanut allergy reactions. The first participant has been dosed in a U.S. trial.

Mabylon AG has begun a first-in-human clinical trial for its novel compound MY006, designed to prevent reactions associated with peanut allergy. The first healthy volunteer received a dose in a study conducted in the United States.
The tri-specific monoclonal antibody MY006 is intended to provide prophylactic treatment for individuals with peanut allergy. The study is randomized, quadruple-blinded, and placebo-controlled, assessing the safety, pharmacokinetics, and immunogenicity of MY006 in both healthy volunteers and peanut-allergic patients.
Part A of the trial will evaluate the safety of MY006 at increasing doses in healthy adults, while Part B will assess its efficacy and safety in adolescent and adult peanut-allergic patients. The trial is being carried out across multiple sites in the U.S.
According to Mabylon AG CEO Alcide Barberis, the initiation of this trial marks significant progress in addressing the unmet needs in peanut allergy management. Peanut allergy is a common and potentially life-threatening food allergy with substantial medical need.
