Magellan Partners expands its ESG consulting capabilities with the acquisition of VPWhite, a specialist in sustainability and non-financial process digitalization.
Paris, France – Magellan Partners announced on January 30, 2025, that it has acquired VPWhite, a firm specializing in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) consulting. This move is a key step in Magellan Partners' 2030 strategy, aiming to bolster its position in the sustainable performance and non-financial data digitalization market.
Founded in 2006, VPWhite employs approximately 100 consultants across France, the United States, Germany, and the UK. The company serves over 100 large international corporations and public administrations, focusing on sustainability performance and digital transformation in ESG, EHSQ (Environment, Health, Safety, Quality), real estate, legal processes, and risk management. VPWhite guides clients through strategy definition, operational deployment, platform integration, and regulatory compliance, including frameworks like CSRD and the EU Taxonomy.
Magellan Partners stated that the acquisition enhances its ESG advisory offerings and integrates VPWhite's expertise in areas such as data and artificial intelligence. The combined entity intends to provide a comprehensive suite of services across the ESG and non-financial value chain for its clients.
The transaction is expected to accelerate VPWhite's international growth, particularly in the Nordic region, the UK, and Germany. It also strengthens Magellan Partners' capacity to support organizations in their sustainability transformations. Both companies highlighted their shared commitment to positive social and environmental impact.
