Magellan Partners has appointed three new leaders to bolster its cybersecurity operations. The appointments aim to meet growing market demand for security services.

Magellan Partners, a cybersecurity consultancy, has announced three new senior appointments to strengthen its leadership team and address the increasing demand for security solutions.
Christophe Gueguen has been appointed Deputy Director of Magellan Sécurité, the group's dedicated cybersecurity arm. In his new role, Gueguen will oversee the development and implementation of security policies and contribute to integrating advanced security solutions. Laurent Métayer has been named Commercial and Partnership Director for Magellan Sécurité, focusing on expanding the company's market reach and solidifying strategic alliances with technology providers.
In addition, Guénolé Leost has been appointed Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Magellan Partners. Leost will be responsible for the overall security posture of the group's IT infrastructure and will also advise on client projects related to system security.
These appointments come as the cybersecurity market continues to grow, driven by a rise in sophisticated cyber threats. In 2022, French organizations reported 385,000 successful cyberattacks, highlighting the critical need for robust security measures.
"Cybersecurity is a critical issue for all organizations," stated Dominique Pourchet, CEO of Magellan Sécurité. "These appointments are part of our strategy to accelerate the development of our security activities in France and Europe."
