Maggi introduces Korean-style noodles with adjustable heat levels in Germany
Nestlé-owned Maggi has launched a new range of Korean-style noodles in Germany, featuring a separate spicy sauce sachet to allow consumers to customize flavor intensity.

Maggi has expanded its Asian product portfolio in Germany with the release of 'Korean Style Noodles'. Available in both cup and pouch formats, the line is designed to tap into the growing consumer interest in Korean cuisine, specifically among younger demographics.
Unlike many conventional spicy instant noodles, these products feature a separate sachet of spicy paste. This allows consumers to adjust the level of heat from mild to spicy according to individual preference. Development of the recipes involved product experts from Nestlé’s research hubs in Singapore to align the flavor profiles with traditional Korean seasonings.
Available in three variants—Kimchi Chicken, Gochujang Beef, and Spicy Cheesy—the launch is accompanied by a social media-focused marketing campaign aimed at the Gen Z demographic. Retail availability will be supported by point-of-sale displays in major grocery outlets.
According to Mareike Drucktenhengst, Head of Maggi Eating and Communications, the product aims to bridge the gap between niche Korean food trends and mainstream retail, providing a more accessible option for quick preparation.
