Maggi launches spice mixes for airfryer cooking
Nestlé's Maggi brand is introducing four new spice mixes in July 2025, specifically designed for use in airfryers. The new products aim to simplify and enhance cooking with the popular appliance.

Maggi, a brand under the Nestlé group, is expanding its product line in July 2025 with the launch of four new spice mixes tailored for airfryers, also known as hot air fryers. In Germany, approximately one-third of households are estimated to own an airfryer, with families and younger consumers particularly utilizing the appliance for quick meal preparation.
The new MAGGI Airfryer products focus on the most common dishes prepared in airfryers. The mixes are designed to provide specific results, such as crispy coatings or moist fillings. The range includes "MAGGI Airfryer Paprika Pommes Frites," "MAGGI Airfryer Knusper Hähnchen Käse" (Crispy Chicken Cheese), and "MAGGI Airfryer Knusper Hähnchen Paprika Knoblauch" (Crispy Chicken Paprika Garlic), aimed at achieving crispiness in chicken and potato dishes. Additionally, "MAGGI Airfryer Mexikanischer Mix Wrapfüllung für Fajita" offers a seasoning mix for moist Mexican-style fajita fillings.
These spice mixes typically require only a small amount of oil for cooking. Maggi states that most of the new products have received a Nutri-score rating of "A," indicating favorable nutritional content. Each package is intended to serve two to three portions, with a recommended retail price of 1.09 euros.
Maggi plans to support the launch with a comprehensive media campaign, in-store promotions, and sampling activities. Furthermore, starting in the fall, Maggi will also mark other existing MAGGI Fix products that are suitable for airfryer cooking. The brand will provide tips and recipe ideas for airfryer cooking on its digital channels.
