Magnus Mellin has been appointed the new CEO of Kylgruppen, a part of the Nordic Climate Group. The company, with an annual turnover of approximately SEK 200 million and 50 employees, is undergoing a leadership transition. Anders Linders, who served as CEO for eight years, will now focus on his new role as Head of Sales, dedicating his efforts to business development and customer relations.
The leadership change is part of Kylgruppen's ongoing development. "Kylgruppen has developed strongly under Anders' leadership, doubling its turnover in recent years and establishing a strong market position," said Mikael Anjou, CEO of Nordic Climate Group Sweden. "We are now taking the next step, where Anders will continue to drive and develop the business close to the customer, while Magnus assumes overall responsibility for the company's continued development."
Mellin joins Kylgruppen from Assemblin/Caverion, where he held management positions overseeing operations and major client accounts. "What attracted me was the pace and proximity to the business. Kylgruppen has a clear direction and a lot of energy in the organization. I look forward to contributing my experience and, together with the team, taking the next step in the company's growth," Mellin stated.
Founded in 1984, Kylgruppen has grown to become one of Sweden's larger companies in the refrigeration and heating sector. Linders has been with the company for a significant period and served as CEO since 2018. "This is a natural next step for the company's continued progress, and I warmly welcome Magnus into the role of new CEO. I also look forward to fully focusing on the business, continuing to develop customer relationships, and contributing to our collective next steps," Linders commented on his new position.
