MagTek and Winston POS Announce Rapid POS Payment Integration
MagTek and Winston POS have completed a rapid integration of payment devices and gateway into Winston's POS system. The solution offers restaurants processor independence and enhanced control over payment costs.

MagTek, a provider of secure payment technology, and Winston POS, a developer of point-of-sale (POS) systems, have announced a swift integration pairing MagTek's payment devices and Magensa Payment Protection Gateway with Winston's POS platform.
The new solution offers processor-agnostic mobile payment capabilities, allowing restaurants greater flexibility in selecting payment service providers and managing transaction costs. The integration was achieved in two weeks, enabling the rapid deployment of secure, mobile payment functions for tableside service, takeaways, and deliveries.
Aiming to counter rigid, closed ecosystems, the companies' approach allows Winston POS dealers and their customers to choose their preferred payment processors and use hardware flexibly across various operating systems without being tied to a single provider.
MagTek's EMV Common Kernel technology simplifies the deployment of payment solutions across different environments. Once integrated, software developers can scale the solution broadly for various payment scenarios, speeding up time-to-market for new payment features and reducing development resources.
