Malteser Transfers Dr. von Weckbecker Clinic to Ritter von Kempski Group

Bad Brückenau. Malteser in Deutschland has agreed to transfer the Dr. von Weckbecker Clinic, a specialist facility for natural healing methods and fasting, to the Ritter von Kempski Group. The change of ownership is scheduled to be finalized on January 1, 2026.

The Ritter von Kempski Group, which specializes in nature and wellness hotels, spa clinics, and youth welfare, plans to make seven-figure investments in the clinic's infrastructure and further development. The clinic's approximately 140 employees have been guaranteed continued employment until the end of 2027.

Ulf Reermann, CEO of Malteser Deutschland gGmbH, stated that the Ritter von Kempski Group is an ideal and financially strong new owner. He emphasized the importance of integrating the clinic, which Malteser has operated since 1997, into a group with similar facilities to ensure its future alignment and maintain its Catholic orientation.

Dr. Clemens Ritter von Kempski, CEO of the Ritter von Kempski Group, described the acquisition as a logical step to expand the group's portfolio with expertise in preventive natural medicine combined with hospitality. The stated goal is to develop the clinic into a leading provider in Germany through a careful transformation process.
