Man Group Launches New Infrastructure ETF for US Market
Investment manager Man Group has launched the Man Active Global Infrastructure ETF, expanding its US offering. The fund focuses on global listed infrastructure companies.

Man Group PLC has launched a new actively managed exchange-traded fund (ETF) for the US market, the Man Active Global Infrastructure ETF (ticker: MGIN). This launch brings the firm's ETF offerings in the US wealth market to five.
The MGIN fund invests in global listed infrastructure companies across sectors including energy, utilities, digital and communications, and transportation and supply chain. The fund aims for capital growth over the medium to long term by selecting from a universe of over 700 global companies, constructing a concentrated portfolio of approximately 40 to 60 holdings.
Listed infrastructure offers potential for income growth and stability, supported by inflation-linked cash flows and long-term contracts. The asset class is driven by secular themes such as the energy transition, digital infrastructure build-out, and geopolitical considerations. Active management is seen as beneficial due to the wide dispersion of returns across different infrastructure segments and companies.
Al Chu, with over 20 years of investment experience, serves as the primary portfolio manager for the fund. Man Group stated the launch is a significant step in expanding its US ETF platform, aiming to make its institutional-grade strategies accessible to a broader range of investors.
