AUM rose to $227.6 billion, an increase from $168.6 billion at the end of the prior year. The company attributed this growth to the successful execution of its strategy and the relevance of its investment offerings.
Net inflows for the year amounted to $28.7 billion, which Man Group stated was 19.3% ahead of the industry on an asset-weighted basis. Relative investment performance stood at 1.3%, with a reported 4.9% outperformance in the long-only category. Despite market fluctuations, the firm highlighted the resilience of its diversified platform, though statutory diluted earnings per share decreased to 15.0¢ from 25.1¢ in 2024.
Strategic initiatives were a key focus during the fiscal year. Man Group combined its systematic teams to foster greater research and product co-development. The firm also expanded its offerings in the wealth management sector by launching four new active ETFs. Additionally, the acquisition of Bardin Hill was completed, broadening the company's credit capabilities.
The company is also investing in technological advancements, notably through a new artificial intelligence partnership with Anthropic. This collaboration aims to enhance investment research, improve productivity, and increase automation across operations. CEO Robyn Grew expressed optimism, stating that Man Group is well-positioned for future growth and innovation, particularly in the field of AI.
