Mandalay Resources, a subsidiary of Alkane Resources, has released its 2025 production and cost guidance for gold and antimony production at the Björkdal mine in Sweden.

Mandalay Resources, a subsidiary of Alkane Resources Limited, has issued its 2025 production and cost guidance for gold and antimony output. The company's primary production site is the Björkdal mine located in Sweden.
For 2025, Mandalay Resources anticipates producing between 100,000 and 110,000 ounces of gold, 3,000 to 3,500 tonnes of antimony, and 13,000 to 15,000 tonnes of sulfuric acid. The mine is projected to process 3.5 to 4 million tonnes of ore, with an average gold grade of 0.78 to 0.84 grams per tonne.
The company estimates its annual cash costs to be between $1,175 and $1,275 per ounce of gold, and all-in sustaining costs (AISC) between $1,375 and $1,475 per ounce. Antimony production costs are expected to range from $5,500 to $6,500 per tonne.
This guidance is based on the current ore reserves and production plans for the Björkdal mine. The company plans to continue exploration and resource expansion activities.
