Manuela Moog Appointed Head of IT at DEVK
Manuela Moog, currently Head of IT at Baloise, will join DEVK as its Head of IT starting November 1, 2025. She succeeds Michael Knaup, who will become CEO in 2026.
DEVK insurance group has appointed Manuela Moog, 54, as its new Head of IT, effective November 1, 2025. Moog transitions from her role as Head of IT at Baloise, a Swiss insurance company. She will replace Michael Knaup, 51, who is set to become DEVK's new CEO starting in 2026.
The appointment completes the restructuring of DEVK's executive board. Moog brings extensive experience in IT for the insurance sector, having dedicated her career to the field. In her new capacity, she will oversee DEVK's information processing and telecommunications.
Moog began her career at AXA in Cologne, holding various leadership positions for over 25 years. She later moved to Zurich Insurance Group and then to Baloise Germany, where she became Head of IT in 2022. She is known for promoting agile working methods.
