Manufacturing Platform Zetwerk Lists on Stock Exchange

Zetwerk, founded in 2018, has officially listed its shares. The company has moved away from its original model of connecting manufacturers to vendors, instead adopting a full-stack approach that involves managing procurement, production, and delivery through a series of acquisitions and operational pivots.

Financial results for FY26 show a 40.4% year-on-year revenue increase, reaching ₹15,913 Cr. Despite this top-line growth, the company reported a widened consolidated net loss of ₹1,606 Cr, compared to ₹371 Cr in the previous year. These losses include substantial exceptional charges and an impairment related to the discontinuation of its civil infrastructure unit.

The business operates through two segments: manufacturing and ecosystem. The manufacturing division focuses on custom industrial goods and generates an EBITDA margin of roughly 6%. Conversely, the ecosystem segment, which manages bulk commodity trading, operates on tighter margins of approximately 1.24%. With cash outflows increasing alongside a growing order book of ₹12,370 Cr, the company faces the operational pressure of funding production and logistics at scale.

By acting as the principal in transactions, Zetwerk assumes responsibility for quality and delivery, differentiating itself from pure marketplace models. As the company scales, the primary focus for investors remains on its ability to widen margins within the competitive industrial sector and manage the high working capital requirements inherent in large-scale manufacturing.
